Spring Break - Friday

On Friday we went to the Ethel M Chocolate factory and cactus garden.  We made sure to go during business hours so we could actually see them making chocolate.  They have a giant glass window down a long hallway that lets you see the production line. 

I loved seeing the giant slabs of Carmel and all the white chocolate.  It was also great to get a free sample at the end.  Delicious!!

After we did the chocolate factory tour we went outside to the amazing garden they have filled with different types of cactus.  The kids were messing around and I thought for sure one of them was going to push the other and someone would fall on a cactus.  So glad that didn't happen:)

After the chocolate factory tour we had lunch and took naps.  That's the thing with me and Jared, we both love to sleep so we take naps whenever we can.  The kids hung out and watched TV while we slept.  Maybe it's just old age.

Friday afternoon we went to the Mirage to Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat.  We have been there many times and it is always a hit with our kids.

The great thing about it is that you can sit right on the edge of the pool and watch the trainers with the dolphins.  They come so close to you and its fun to see them up close.

After the dolphin exhibit is the Lion exhibit which is pretty cool too. 

And at the end walking back through the Mirage hotel of course I see this store.  Ahhh - my guilty pleasure is watching the Kardashians.  Jared asked me if I wanted him to go over and stand by the store and he would pose like Kim K.  HaHaHa - no, definitely not.  But pretty fun to see this store.  And it was a great day.
