GingerBread Houses

It was time for our annual gingerbread house decorating party.  I got up early Saturday morning and whipped up some gingerbread and Jared made the pattern for the houses.  Then we got to work, rolling out the dough, cutting out the pieces and baking.  The kids where there to help cut out the gingerbread people and eat the little "extra" pieces of dough.

Then we hot glued the houses together and the kids decorated them with frosting and candy.  One of our yearly traditions.  I love it and so do they, great way to kickoff the Christmas season.

That's a lot of work! You're amazing to make all of the fun stuff for your family that you do. Exciting you're settled at your own place-moving stinks (we both know that!) but nice to get settled as well. And-exciting your brother in law got to come home early! Lucas is one of those kids I just want to squeeze his cheeks, SO ADORABLE!!!

You are so absolutely darling! What a fun day!
I just want you to know that I miss you a ton. It's just not the same to go to my Dad's office and not see you there. It looks like things are going great for you though. I hope you know how wonderful I think you are my dear!
Have a wonderful Holiday with your darling family!
