Zoo

I needed a day just to spend with my family so I took Thursday off and we went to the zoo.  It's been a long time since we last went and it was the first time.  It was so fun to just watch his reaction to everything.  When we were first buying our tickets the kids were throwing pennies into the little waterfall.  Then when we went to try and go in Lucas started crying.  I guess he thought that was all we were going to do.  HaHa!!

 Jared decided to go on the carousel with Lucas.  He first sat Lucas up on this lion then all of a sudden he jumped up there with him.  There was a sign that said "1 rider per animal"  I thought the guy was going to make him get down, but he didn't.

 MaKady wanted me to take a picture of all the bats. She loves bats.  

What a super fun day.  I'm so glad I was able to take the day off of work to spend with my family.  So far our summer has been great!!
