Pioneer Day

For the 24th of July (Pioneer Day in Utah) we went to Jared's home town of Levan.  We love to go down there.  It really is such a nice small town and everyone is so friendly.  On Saturday morning we got the kids all ready.  My parents and my sister Tori came with us.  We got down there and then Jared took the kids plus a ton of candy so that they could get in the parade line-up.  I set up some chairs at Grandma Myrt's house and watched the parade with my parents and Jared's parents and his sisters and a few cousins.

After the parade a friend of my in-laws asked if anyone wanted to ride in the wagon, of course Lucas and Paige wanted to go.  (MaKady had already gone for a walk with my Dad) so they hoped in and headed down the road.  I picked them up a while later and we headed down to the city park for lunch.
In the afternoon they had games and inflatables for the kids.  Lucas and MaKady really liked the games.  Lucas liked the roping the horse game the best and it was hard for him to move on to the next one.

After the kids played games all afternoon we sat in the shade and waited for dinner.  They have such a nice dinner at the park.  Lucas had a lot of fun jumping to Grandpa.

After dinner the sun set and they had the greatest firework show.  It really was amazing.  I love fireworks, its one of the best things about summer.
