Mother's day was lovely for me. We got up early and got ready for church. Jared gave me a beautiful corsage (which is a tradition in his family) and we went to church. All of the classes and lessons were so great and the spirit just lifted me up.
After church we went to Levan to have lunch with Jared's mom. Then we went over to his aunt Carolyn's house and I had made a cake so we had dessert and visited with his aunts and grandma Myrt. The kids played in the yard and looked at the fish in the pond and Uncle Mike's birds.
This was one of my presents from Paige. It's her message to me on her white board. So cute!! My favorite part of mother's day are the homemade cards from my kids. They mean so much to me and I save them all.
After we visited at Carolyn's for a while we took the kids down the street to see Ray's goats. There were lots of new little ones.
Aunt Julie gave the girls some watermelon rinds to feed the goats.
Lucas was freaked out by this big goat. Look at the expression on his face. He was screaming.
There are 3 sets of twins. I had to take a picture of these two trying to eat.
This Lllama is in the pen with the goats. It protects them. We are lucky she didn't spit on us.
Lucas finally got brave enough to try and touch the goat. It came right up to him and Lucas was so excited.
After we went to see the goats we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Mangelson's house for chocolate cake and Carmel popcorn. We even took the kids for a ride on the golf cart around the farm and saw more animals, horses, cows, sheep, and deer.
It was a nice relaxing mothers day and it was fun to just visit and be outside at the farm. Hope you all had a wonderful mothers day.
