Baby Lambs

On Sunday after church we went to visit Jared's cousin Kami.  They raise sheep.  Of course this time of year all the sheep are having babies and the kids were so excited to go.  We had a nice lunch then headed out to the barn behind her house.  

They have pens were some of the sheep are.

Look at this little baby lamb.  It is sooo cute.  

Kami's kids each have their own sheep that they raise.  This baby belongs to Demry, Kami's daughter.  She walks it around on a leash.  Lucas was a little scared.

These sheep are pregnant and in a pen by themselves until they have their baby, then they are moved into the barn and put into their own little cubicle.

Kami has a sand box behind the house and Lucas played there for hours.

Bummer lambs - their mommas abandoned them so these are the lambs that get bottle fed every three hours.

I feel blessed to live in Utah.  It has been a blessing for us to be close to Jared's family the last 5 years.  My kids have experienced a lot of neat things.
