On Saturday Jared's dad called and asked if we could come down to help clean up. So Jared went down early in the morning and then I took the kids down after MaKady was done with her girl scout meeting. When I got there I was amazed to see how the family was working together. Many of Jared's cousins and uncles were there cleaning up the mess. I helped his Aunts in the kitchen and we put together a nice lunch for them.
This was devastating for the entire Mangelson family, but it was amazing to see the strength, love and respect this family has for one another. There was no fighting or backbiting, just a bunch of men working hard together to get the job done. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this family.

Oh my! Donna, that is so sad! It is so good to hear that we always have our families to count on when things get hard!
That breaks my heart....I'm so sorry for their loss! That is major, I'm glad you guys were able to go down and help clean up! :) Thinking of you guys!
Oh! I am so sorry, that brings tears to my eyes to see those pictures. When I was 15 I watched my grandpa's barn burn too...will never forget it. However he didn't suffer the loss of equipment like this. So sorry.
