Best Friends

My best friend Shannon came to visit me last weekend. We have been best friends since we were 15. We have been through everything together. She is like my other half, but she lives in New Mexico, so we talk on the phone almost daily and we get to see each other once a year.

This time she came by herself leaving her family at home. She took me out for my very first pedicure. And we cooked and hung out all weekend. She did most of the cooking and it was so yummy. Oh, and she also gave me a massage (she is a massage therapist). It was so much fun and I miss her already. I can't wait until next year. Maybe one of these days I will make the 9 hour trip to her house.
