Memorial Day Pictures

For Memorial Day weekend I decided that it would be a good time to take the kids and drive up to see my parents.  It happened to be on Jared's rotation out so I was left to do all the driving.  If you know me, then that is difficult because when I get in a car I fall asleep, usually within 30 minutes of starting the drive.  So from Hurricane to Brigham City, plus a stop to pick up my nephew and a stop to use the bathroom, it too us nearly 6 hours.  On the way up I was literally eating everything we had available in the truck and punching myself in the arm.  After 11 years of being married and a hubby who insists on driving everywhere, I am ruined for driving a long distance.  I'm really glad MaKady was there handing me twizzlers the whole ride and singing with me.  Anyway we made it to my parents house Friday night.

Saturday it rained so we just hung out it the house.  I went shopping with my sister Julie for a little while and then I took a few pictures of her and her adorable family.  They were way over due to have a new pic taken.  Saturday night grandpa took a few of the  kids to Chrystal Hot Springs to go swimming and I hung out with my mom and my sister Julie.  We dropped Brock and MaKady off at the movie.

Sunday it was still raining.  We went with my parents to church and then my Mom had a turkey dinner waiting for us.   Amazing!!  Have I mentioned before how much I love my Mom's cooking?  It's always so good.  Sunday afternoon I took a few pictures of my parents and also of my sister Tori (even though she was not interested in having her picture taken, love her so much).

Monday we got up early to drive home.  I stopped in Levan to visit with Jared's grandparents and we ended up staying for lunch.  It was a nice weekend, and the drive home was way better than the drive up.
