Rainy Summer....So far

It's been so rainy and wet and cold so far this summer.  The kids are bored.  So we have resorted to letting them play outside in the rain.  I know right!!!   Uggg.  But what can you do.  My nephew Brock came to visit for the weekend.  The kids were looking forward to riding bikes, swimming, etc.  You know the normal summer stuff, but it rained...  What else is new.  They played ball and played in the sandbox...all in the rain.

Now I'm not normally one to complain, but honestly I am soooo ready for warm weather.

We made the best of it anyway.  We made homemade play dough.  We left it white so that the kids didn't fight over the colors and so that they didn't mix the colors together.  They especially loved throwing the cookie cutters across the table at each other.  HaHa!!  We even had a barbecue in the rain.  I know the kids had a good time....But MaKady did catch a cold:(
