Happy Easter

Happy Easter!!!  We had a great time.  Saturday Paige and I cleaned the house and boiled eggs while Jared took MaKady and Lucas out to where his family was camping to they could ride 4-wheelers and visit.  Then Paige had her friend over and they decorated eggs and we played chutes and ladders, and made marshmallow Easter eggs.  Later when MaKady and Lucas came home they decorated their eggs.

Sunday morning the kids were excited to wake up.  I caught the girls on their way down the stairs at 4 am.  HaHa!!!  They had asked me the night before if they could get up early.  I told them yes, but I didn't know it was going to be that early.  I sent them back to bed until 6:30.  Then the kids all got up and went to see what they got in their baskets.  The Easter bunny was good to them this year.  Lots of candy!!!

 Then egg salad on toast for breakfast.

 And chocolate for breakfast.

Then off to church for us.  Church was great.  I loved listening to the primary sing songs in Sacrament meeting and I loved teaching the lesson in Young Women.  I taught the lesson about the last week of Christ's life.  It was the first time I have actually studied and understood the timeline of his last week.  (you can find the lesson here)  I used the lesson part and then pictures of the items. It turned out so good.

After church we ate lunch and took naps, then I hid all the eggs and the kids had their Easter egg hunt.
