Pioneer Day

For Pioneer Day this year my parents and my sister Mary came to visit. Trinity and Paige were up at my parents house for the week so they brought them back with them on Friday. Mary came up on Friday night.

On Saturday Jared and my dad got up early and went to the church farm to help out. Then when they got home we had a yummy breakfast and headed out to Levan.

At 10:00 Levan held their annual Primary Parade. We love that parade because it's full of kids and they throw a ton of candy. The girls decided that they wanted to watch the parade this year because last year they were in it and they didn't get any candy. This year, they got a ton of candy. We sit in front of Grandma Myrts house.

After the parade we headed on down to the Levan Town park for lunch. We had our choice hamburgers, hotdogs, or chicken sandwhiches. They had big blow up toys for the kids to play on and games. We usually sit down at the park all day but the kids were getting tired so we ran home for a few hours to catch a nap, then we headed back to Levan for dinner.

After dinner there was a band that played some old music to entertain us for the evening. They were also selling suckers and Mary bought one for each of the kids. Lucas loves suckers.

Lucas was so cute, he kept sharing his sucker with Jake.

Last but not least were the fireworks. They were awesome, and a perfect way to end our day. I'm so glad that my parents and my sister were able to come with us.
Best friends - This is the only picture I got of these two, they were so busy playing and having fun, but I finally got them to sit still for a minute.

That is a fun little parade! I've never been till this year and the girls loved all the candy, toys, and popsicles!

Wow! I forgot how big the 24th of July is in Utah! Outside of Utah it is just another day with maybe a ward party, but this year we didn't even have that. Looks like tons of fun!
