Birthday Party

On Monday October 11, 2010 we met at the cemetery with my family to celebrate our nephew Jordan's birthday. He would have been five. It is becoming tradition for us. It's a hard day for Mary and Trinity especially. I am so glad that we were able to celebrate with them. This year was hard for Mary because I have Lucas and he was 20 months on Jordan's birthday. The exact age that Jordan was when he passed away.

It's true what they say about healing with time. Our whole family is healing. The hurt is beginning to fade. We are able to concentrate on the good times and memories that we have of Jordan instead of on the fact that he isn't here anymore.

Again I am so grateful for the knowledge we have that families are forever, and that we will one day be able to see Jordan.

After the balloons at the cemetery we went and ate at the Chinese Buffet. It was yummy.
