The concert was a fundraiser to benefit 2 Utah teens who where recently paralyzed in (separate) accidents.
When we got there we parked the car and started walking up the side walk to go into the building. Suddenly there was a green hummer driving up the sidewalk where we were walking. He seemed like he was in a hurry so we quickly moved out of his way and he pulled up next to the building. We waved at him as he got out of his car.
We got into the building and gave the lady at the door our tickets (general admission). We walked around for a minute but couldn't figure out where we were supposed to be sitting so I stopped and asked a group of people that looked like they knew what they were doing. The same guy that was driving the hummer came forward and asked if we wanted better seats. I told him we did and he gave us new tickets for floor seating and said it was the least he could do for almost running us over, so we sat on the floor only 8 rows back from the stage.
The night was full of entertainment. Doug and David Osmond where the emcees. They did a great job. Then the following performed:
- Center Stage Dancers (they were amazing)
- Katie Riggs
- David Osmond
- V Factory
- Due West
- Billy Dean
Since we sat down on the floor and it was a small crowd they let whoever wanted to go up to the front of the stage. MaKady didn't want to , but Paige was right up front and center dancing and screaming and having a great time.
It was really a great night, lots of great entertainment and so much fun for the kids.
