6 Months

I can't believe my baby is already six months old. I know I say that every month, but honestly I can't believe how fast it all goes by. He has changed so much in the last month. We gave him another little haircut, just a little off the top, but it was the rest of his dark hair, now it's all gone and he is really turning blond. He is so cute, but I loved his dark hair. I saved it all in a little bag.

Lucas is still trying to sit up on his own, but he doesn't have the back strength to do it yet. We are still working on that. He is really starting to babble, and he has figured out how to put his hand up to his mouth to make some really funny noises. He laughs and giggles at everything. He is starting to like solid foods, although he still prefers the bottle. He loves bananas and butternut squash. He really hates apples and peas. He only took one bite of peas, gagged then spit them out. He is a chunky little boy, but at his last weigh in he was still only 16 1/2 lbs. He hasn't really gained any weight this month, but he is getting much taller. Paige is starting to have a hard time carrying him around because he is getting to big for her. I think he is going to catch up to her in size really quick.

We have taken Lucas swimming a couple of times and he really hates it. He cries even before we put him in the water because he knows what is coming. But he does love to take baths. It is so funny to watch him. We enjoy him so much. He is still such a sweet boy and so well mannered. I hope it lasts!!!
